Scope
The committee examined matters arising from public statements made by Mike Scrafton (ministerial adviser to Defence Minister Peter Reith) following his conversations with the Prime Minister on 7 November 2001 regarding the 'children overboard' affair. The committee considered the implications of these statements for the findings of the Select Committee on a Certain Maritime Incident.
